This website is hosted on Amazon AWS servers on an Ubuntu virtual machine. Currently it is running ExpressJS on top of two NoSQL databases. Redis for session storage and MongoDB for storing log information. Nginx Proxy is used to redirect the user to the correct ExpressJS project. For Content Delivery Network (CDN), CloudFlare, was used increase performance speed worldwide.

Jason created Code For Wings as a skill development exercise. Mainly experimenting with Object Oriented Template Design for both frontend and backend ExpressJS

About Jason

Jason graduated in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2012 from the University of Toronto. He has been working as a Software Developer with the Data Management Group at the University of Toronto, immediately after his last exam.

As their lead software engineer, he designed and implemented a web interface used to extract aggregated data from their databases. His responsibilities include query design and implementation, architecting the backend web framework, and Agile software project management
